Greeting, "With gratitude for everything"

In 1960, I entered into Aida Engineering Co., Ltd (press machine maker) and learned how to make press machine and tooling technology for 11 years. I came across with transfer press and its tooling in 1963. With these back ground, I became to establish Numasho. In 1960s, Japanese industry was experiencing the beginning of mass production era. I was impressed with the productivity of press machine and transfer press. Then I decided to master this technology.
After establishing Numasho, "Finish with the best of our effort" and "With gratitude for everything." These two lines are always our company's motto. The next process is always for our customers. We make tools with our best effort and we are thankful for those who work with us. It's been 36 years, we have been doing in this way and will be doing continually.
Our strong point is that we are able to make precision deep-draw round parts by press manufacture and a big volume is made by transfer press tooling. We have confidence in making deep-draw parts with precision roundness and we can make them last for a quite long period of time. Now we have 23 workers, a small company but we have been making a contribution to this society. We deeply appreciate your advice and support.

Chairman Tamotsu Numano

Last 30 years, Japanese die technology is the No. 1 in the world that is we had heard. Recently, situation has changed because of the cost competition, technology diffusion to overseas and the short lead time. This field is facing the decline crisis. Also looking into the future, there are difficulties of teaching succeeding skill and technique to the next generation and aging of technical expert. We often hear those negative opinions. However, in this situation, we must keep challenging higher level of new technology, building technical data and finding out our own way of "making". Now we must make our best effort when confronting these difficulties and never give up.
Since Japan is high wage country, it's getting very hard to compete with other countries in price. Nevertheless, I believe that we can win this competition by pushing forward our expert technology to become a stronger company. We know that "Our customers never be happy with tooling company which unable to meet their needs". Our ultimate goal is always to become such a company which our customers are glad. We appreciate your advice, opinions and support.
